Even with the 5.01 updates on both the iPhone and Desktop, I cannot sync. Also, support refuses to respond to any of my queries about why I was banned from the support forum after posting ONE message asking for help with syncing issues.
I would be happy to do a support request, but: (1) I submitted one previously and got no response and (2) every time that I click submit, a dialog pops up asking me what to do with the .cgi file (I've tried in both IE and Firefox). Here is what I tried to submit to support:
Two problems:
1) Even with v5.01 on iPhone and Desktop I can't sync. They communicate (desktop reacts), but don't sync. Now I get this error: Unexpected network error occurred. Please check your network settings.
2) I've been banned from the forum for "spam". I posted right after SplashPhoto was released to ask about sync problems. Justin responded. My post was then deleted and I was banned. SplashData has refused to communicate with me following a previous support requests and numerous emails to support@splashdata.com asking about the situation.
Same problem with 5.01 as I had with 5.0. Can add & delete photos from desktop to iPod Touch, but any changes I make on the desktop program (size, brightness, captions, notes, etc.) are deleted at sync. Also, if I change sync setting to Handheld or Desktop Overwrites, it will not sync at all. Firewall is set to allow program, IP address correct, don't know what else to try? Any ideas???
I've posted here, I've entered support requests at SplashData, I've emailed support@splashdata.com, and I've emailed info@splashdata.com. I've still received no response and I'm still banned from the forums with no real explanation.

You must have been banned by accident when we were cleaning out spam (we get a lot). My apologies for that.
Sounds like a problem with our Captcha verification on the support form. I'll fix that now.
Don't email support AT splashdata DOT com. A better email for direct contact would be info AT splashdata DOT com.

Please try the updated installer we put up last night - it fixes this issue:
Download SplashPhoto 5.01

My best guess as to why you are not receiving responses is that your spam filter is catching our replies.
I just reinstated your forum account, and I'll be emailing you as well.
Please add splashdata.com to your list of allowed senders.
