Yahoo inks deal to integrate Twitter content

Digital services giant Yahoo announced an agreement with Twitter to integrate the microblogging phenom's social experiences across its global network. Per terms of the deal, users can now access their personal Twitter feeds via multiple Yahoo properties including Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Sports--in addition, they can update and share their status and content from Yahoo in their Twitter stream.

SplashID 4.2.1 for webOS released. This has the much requested Backup & Restore feature.

See the built in help for info on how to use it or read this :)

Tap the SplashID menu and select Backup. An email will be generated containing an encrypted text version of your SplashID records. Send this email to yourself as a backup.

To restore the data, open the backup email, either from Sent items or in your Inbox if you sent it to yourself. From the menu items, choose Edit > Select All. Then select Edit > Copy from the menu items.

Then switch to SplashID and choose Restore from the SplashID menu items. Then paste your encrypted data into the space provided by selecting Edit > Paste from the menu items. The tap Restore.

If you wish to overwrite the current records, use the Delete All Records menu option before performing the Restore.

Flight Tracker Review for iPhone from CooliPhoneApps

The comforting factor of this app is that Flight Tracker uses the same database that most airlines utilize. This ensures that information will be accurate and current. More importantly, the information provided is for cities worldwide and covers every major airport. Members of my family are constantly flying here and there. I think this app would suit us all immensely to check that flights are on time and not delayed by adverse weather, especially if I am picking them up from the airport!

Nokia Weathers Smart-Phone Onslaught, Maintains Industry-Leading Profitability

Defying rising competitive pressures in the smart-phone segment, No.1 mobile handset brand Nokia managed to achieve industry-leading profitability in 2009, according to iSuppli Corp. The Finnish cell-phone giant finished 2009 with an operating profit of 12.3 percent, compared to an average of 0.7 percent for all the Top-5 wireless handset brands. Samsung came in second with an operating profit of 10.5 percent.
